Travelling rug might start things off I guess. National trust sticker perhaps. I’ve been practicing going everywhere at 40mph for a few weeks now! 😉

Isn't 40 the top speed of a 4-cyl 3-ton soot chucking taxi anyway?

Does a bit better downhill. The other thing I suspect I need to get used to is driving in a hat.

So far so good on that score. I reckon it’s all about the expertise of the driver… 😎

Presumably when you ride the bikes in Wales, sometimes you need to stick to the 20mph limits. Or can you avoid going anywhere near towns etc?

Not weird as such, but slightly left field in that it's the last true small estate car which can be bought nearly new. I've just helped a niece choose an upgrade to her old and troublesome FIAT 500, her first thought was a Ford Puma of the new SUV type shape, but once I pointed out to her that she has a dog, a boyfriend, and uses the car to travel up and down the country, then perhaps an estate car might be a better body shape than an SUV, to accommodate poochie jumping in and out, its cage/crate, and some suitcases for travel. Incredibly, she agreed, and has gone with my recommendation of a Skoda Fabia estate, in 1.0TSI manual, Monte Carlo trim. Sadly, she's go to go to somewhere called "Stockport" (wherever that is) to collect it. www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202405219929420

It’ll be ok at this time of year. Light nights etc.

She'll be fine as long she speaks with a flat accent and pretends to support ManCity.
I recommend that she makes a comment like "...if only Southgate would play Foden in his preferred position..." to avoid any confusion.
Nice car BTW.

Depends where you're starting from, for a few on here it would be considered dahn Sa'ff or at least the Midlands.
You're in trouble when the headmaster gets back, not getting her into an EV. Ooof !

Don't think she's got a place to charge at home, so wasn't on the cards.
