I’ve shaved my beard off this week. First time in several multiples of donkey’s.
Just a whim really, but I quite like the clean feeling. My wife says I look cherubic. Not sure if that’s good or not?

I shaved mine off sometime last year, also first time in ages. It is back now. Because my children were driven to the point of tears. I'm not kidding. They were genuinely upset by seeing my actual face.
I think I'll only ever do it again if I need to go to a job interview and want to look a bit younger.
It's about 50/50 white/original orange now.

Mine has been on since Dad died almost three years ago. I keep it closely trimmed but am thinking of removing it in a few weeks. Espadrille not bothered as long as it's tidy. Other's think I look old with it on, like the girl on the bus a few weeks ago  |

I've had a beard of varying lengths for the last eighteen years. Santa style for Christmas, short for the summer. More grey than my natural original hair colour now, brown with a hint of auburn, no ginge here, oh no! Not much except my daughter is a natural redhead, takes after her mum...
I was going to take the beard completely off for the upcoming holiday to even out my tan but now you lot are doing it...

Yeah yeah... Silly girl offered me her seat despite many people older than me on the bus. Not impressed.and rather disappointed. Probably assumes anyone over 30 is ancient.

At the height of lockdown, I just let mine go, along with my barnet, just to see what happened. I went proper Grizzly Adams. Whilst out walking the dog one day (on my government sanctioned once-a-day exercise) a neighbour (garage: E350d estate S212, Audi A3 Quattro TDI, Merc SLC300, Caterham 7) spotted me, let out an audible gasp and asked if I'd just arrived in town from the Bible.

I’ve kept mine shaved all week now. Still not sure if that will last, but there is a pleasure in the certainty of knowing that there are now no toast crumbs outstaying their welcome on my upper lip.
