It won't stop the usual culture war suspects declaring that "EVs are destroying our roads - it stands to reason and common sense because they're heavier", and all the usual Reform UK types will gobble it up, regurgitating it all over Farcebook.

Given the geography of the area it's 0.3 miles from where the Trade Center was.
A car bomb which took out seven underground stories in 1993 plus the towers coming down in 2001 might have something to do with it.
The transit system would have been checked very, very carefully. Not sure every single structure has been checked with the same scrutiny.
