Hmm, depends…
I’m thinking maybe more tobacco suede loafers really. And, an I3 is just preposterous as a Panama hat on the parcel transporter. He’d need an old Jag saloon to rock that. Or maybe an old Merc saloon. Volvo at a pinch.

Loafers aren't really me. Something about the shape doesn't scale well up to my size.
I spent a while working in Austin in 1997. One of my local colleagues was working on me to get a pair of ostrich cowboy boots. Probably as well that he ran out of time.

Normally, I would wish no one any lasting harm, but I hope he has suffered from something painful ever since.

Well, if you did get some loafers in your size and couldn’t get on with them, you could at least rent them out to normal sized people as canoes I suppose? 😎

Or I could just not bother. See also blousons. I've got a Gant one somewhere - a very panama-compatible label, you'd think. Perfectly sensible in principle, but a short jacket on me just leaves too much leg-danglage hanging out. The proportions are wrong; whether that's the jacket's or mine...

For many years I had a Gant Slugger in the wardrobe. It died a few years ago and wasn’t replaced. Still have four different Barbours on the go in various stages of decomposition, but somehow they all still seem viable. My wife made me buy a red Puffa jacket last weekend. I’m not especially at peace with it, but she insists it takes years off me. I allude it in styling terms more to the wearing of a baseball cap, garments which I’ve always regarded as having a secondary function as an IQ reducer. Anyway, I wore the Puffa jacket yesterday on a business trip to Brighton, nothing bad happened I suppose, but Brighton is very forgiving of eccentric behaviour.

Keep a watchful eye on bank statements and credit card bills. If you see Halfords starting to appear you may want to have a private bonfire.
Big wheels and underbody LED lighting on your ride should also cause concern.
You've covered the baseball cap.

I’ll really panic if I start taking even a cursory interest in football! 😉

There are worse afflictions. Launching poles of wood around a field in a skirt, for example.

I’ve never really got the appeal of that sort of thing either. But it’d be a foolish man who accused them of being a bunch of tossers… 😉

And in other news, the first dressing has come off and I stood under a nice gentle mist in the shower last night. Nothing bad happened, but what little hair I have in that region is preventing a large skin coloured plaster from sticking properly so it stands out just as much as the previous dressing which was simply a large pad of white cotton wool attached by various strips of translucent tape.
Oh hum - stitches out next week.

Hope you are fully recovered now Esp? Got a selection of hats for the summer?
My neighbour went from fit and healthy at Christmas to dead in barely 10 weeks with some mysterious cancer that came out of nowhere. A bit odd. Plenty of money in the bank but still couldn’t find a specialist to take him on privately… the docs are all busy and/or just don’t need the extra work. All rather depressing.

I must take a photo and you can see the damage... Actually you can barely see the damage and I have a letter from the doctor saying it was all removed and there is nothing to worry about. Even my travel insurers weren't bothered.
I have been told to cover up, so each day I moisturise my face, forehead and ears with a SPF20 male grooming cream (free with Espadrille's frequent Clarins purchases) and when out walking I wear a baseball cap. I must invest in a form of wide brimmed hat that goes all the way round, but the ones I have seen so far are naff.
Thank you for asking. It is appreciated.
