Goodg looking cars those new Micras. The Renault engine will be the same as in our Captur so reliable and easy to use. Slightly notchy but light gearbox as well.

Crikey, that’s the car. I thought you’d read the back of the Bluetooth module by mistake. 😕

There isn't actually, which surprised me. It was the first thing I looked for. Seems like they don't see them selling to above average sized men...

Not really necessary. The Micra’s target customers are all pretty much the same size and shape. 😈

It does do that Humph, I had to lower it down myself before driving off from the dealer forecourt. I think it's as low as it can go now. I don't think it's a suitable car for anyone much larger than me, or for any kind of family use. Although the boot is surpringly large. Even so I do quite like it, and if I were a childless person it would appeal to me as a local runabout. Mrs A really likes it, it'd be great for her. But we already have the Leaf for zipping about town, going to the gym/pool/light shoppings etc. I can see me getting a used one for Miss A Jr in a few years time.

One of the nicest little cars I've rented in relatively recent times was a Clio estate. ( They don't do them in the uk I don't think, not any more anyway ) That one was a LHD with the ubiquitous 1.5 diesel and a manual box. But it was a surprisingly good little thing. I became quite fond of it over the three or four days and 1000km or so we were together.

The Captur offers similar space in a taller, shorter package. Probably a better ride in the Clio.

I have done the wee Micra a disservice, it does have steering wheel adjustment, I was just looking in the wrong place. Anyway it's been returned now, and the Leaf is back. They've given me an ruddy MOT advisory for a bit of perishing on the tyres. Cheek. Suppose that's the next job/expense then.

It'll be all that standing around it has to do while it charges up, and what with all that weight from the batteries. Bound to crack the tyres all that...

Ha ha, yeah. I think they're the original "green" Michelin tyres, the car is on 23500 miles and the advisory is for a bit of perishing to two of them, and that the front ones are "getting low" (they're not really). I might fit some all seasons of a mid-range brand. Seeing as Winter is Coming.
