The post above of the wolf in a leather jacket makes me think of deep fakes. Anyone seen the new series that the makers of South Park are doing? Lead character is Trump. :-)
Out for a local walk on Sunday and saw the biggest dog for a while. A rather overweight Chow Chow. He did have a lot of fur but he was huge.

With a white LED light, wouldn't a polar bear be less visible and more likely to be run over, or perhaps cannoned into by a speeding mountain bike? ....not if it were wearing a hi-viz jacket....

Might need counselling a Kevlar vest, though. Come on now, there's only been one bad murder this week, and that was on the Oxford Road opposite McDonalds, exactly where you'd expect it. Hardly even counts.

Isn't that where Humph sent me last week? I could tell it was a suspect area when the newsagent wouldn’t accept my subscription voucher for his one copy of The Guardian. 😓

...rented flat, after a split.
As of Sunday, and having been made permanently working from home rather than tied to an office in central Reading, it will be 120 miles as the crow flies from her abode, which will then be in Exeter.

Good show. I expect a lot of that will happen now. If my Mrs wasn't absolutely wedded to the school my binlids are in, I'd rent this house out, and naff off to somewhere quiet in Wales or Scotland for as long as is needed to qualify for free University tuition.

Not quite spiralling but certainly prices are rising for property with gardens and one more room than you might expect to enable outdoor entertaining and WFH.

Interesting EIII, that's what I was talking about a while back when thinking about what to do with my current home. An open plan living/dining/kitchen, 4/5 beds and two WFH rooms was what I was thinking. There's an inferior house to mine on my close up for sale now at a price which appears shockingly high. I was expecting prices for houses near London commuter stations to be soft at the moment.

Flexibility. It is clear that by summer 2021, anyone who wants a vaccine will have had it. So a lot of firms will permit WFH a day or so a week. If commuting, why have the hassle of a long drive/walk etc. Just have the usual stroll to the train/tube/tram/bus.
